Golija-a beauty among the Serbian mountains! Overwhelmed with forests, medows, pastures, springs, brooks, villages, area of about 75.000 ha, length 32 km, it is located among municipalities Kraljevo, Raška, Novi Pazar, Sjenica i Ivanjica. You can arrive to Golija, exactly, from these directions.
Whole Golija is Park of nature(thus declared in July 2001) and Wildlife park (thus declared in September 2001. by UNESCO). It is under protection of the state within I, II and III zone of protection. New Tourist centers, Odvracenica, Golijska reka, Bele vode, Rudno are developing gradually.
The top of Golija is Jankov kamen (Janko's stone), 1833m.
Golija is spacious, gentle, well laid out, with mild climate: nice, hot summer, and cold, verry snowy, but not severe winters.
